Helene Birkeland
Founder & CEO With a background as a child welfare educator and environmental therapist, and with 15 years' experience as an educational leader, Helene combines her professional expertise with a deep love for the outdoors. She started Happy Hikers in 2021, an online store and knowledge platform for leisure and family time in nature. HappyNova expands this with a technology company focused on social sustainability and good public health, where strengthened relationships and the local environment are the focus. Her expertise in child welfare, therapeutic environments, educational leadership, outdoor activities, relationship building, inspirational guidance, and technology integration are useful skills for building a company that truly impacts people and communities.
Anne-Sofie Engelschiøn
Chairman of The board As the founder of several companies in technology, Anne-Sofie has acquired extensive experience in the start-up and management of innovative projects. She was the general manager and one of the key people behind the start-up of AIR by Bolder, one of Norway's largest activity centres, where she combined her passion for technology with physical activity and community involvement. She is currently expanding her expertise by pursuing a PhD in digital service management, which reflects her commitment to improvement how technological services meet users' needs. Her academic journey and practical experience uniquely positions her to drive innovation across technology and user involvement.
